So here's a basic guide to a Healthy Lifestyle
1.Restricting Extra Sugar and Salt Consumption.
Sugar and salt- they look so harmless and basic, yet the rapid increase in their presence in everything from canned food,frozen meal to basic snacks is accelerating health problems.
Too much sugar can cause insulin resistance,obesity and diabetes.
Too much salt can cause water holding in body and increase the risk of high blood pressure which can lead to heart failure/attack and stroke.So this is what you can do, Check and read labels carefully, as many processed and packaged food contain added sugars and salts for example cereals,breads,cookies,sauces,ready made soups,salad dressings etc.
2.Maintaining a healthy body weight
The right weight of a body depends on factors like gender,height,age and genes.Being affected by overweight increases the risk of a wide range of diseases,including diabetes,heart diseases and cancer.
Excess body fat comes from eating more than body needs.The extra calories an come from any caloric nutrients - protein,fat and carbohydrates.
Physical activity helps us spend the
fat collected by body and maintain a well balanced body weight.Eat less and try to be more active.
3.Engaging in physical activities( Often )
Physical activity is important for people of all weight ranges and health condition,it helps us to burn extra calories,its good for important for heart and circulatory system, it also increase muscle mass,improves focus and it uplifts mood . It is important
to engage in a physical activity 30 minutes daily at least 5 times a week.We should also develop some basic daily routine habits like using stairs instead of the elevators or escalators and try to make a sporty weekend morning with friends and family.
Drinking fluid is crucial to staying healthy and maintaining the function of every system in your body,including your heart,brain and muscles .Fluid carry nutrients to your cells ,flush bacteria through your bladder and prevent
problems like constipation.According to medical researches a human should consume at least 2 liters of water in a day,
we can also add fluids to our body through fruits and vegetables.Staying hydrated prevents bloating in body,acne and problems like kidney stones.Moral of the story Stay Hydrated.
It may seem obvious that sleep is beneficial but some people take it for granted.Sleep plays critical role in immune function,metabolism,memory,learning and other vital function.When you're running low on sleep you'll probably have trouble holding an recalling details because sleep plays a big part in retaining information,it helps uplifting your mood,normalizing your blood sugar level,aids weight loss(Yes! it does)and many more.Can you just believe that a basic act like sleeping well can impact your life so much,may be that's why people say Sleep like a Baby.
